SUMMARY OF THE MAIN FUNCTION/PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Food Runner / Busser is responsible for supporting servers and the kitchen by delivering food accurately and efficiently, maintaining clean and organized dining areas, and ensuring tables are guest-ready at all times. This role is essential to service speed, table turns, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.
KEY PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver food from the kitchen to the tables quickly and accurately
• Verify food presentation, temperature, and accuracy before delivery
• Communicate with the kitchen and servers regarding food timing and needs
• Clear and reset tables promptly according to company standards
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, and walkways
• Refill water, assist with pre-bussing, and support guest needs as requested
• Stock service stations with plates, utensils, napkins, and condiments
• Assist with opening and closing side work duties
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
• Support special events, patio/tiki service, or beach service as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required
