Who You Are:

You are a dedicated customer support specialist who prioritizes ensuring that customers receive the help they need. You possess solid experience in data entry.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will provide exceptional customer service support by responding to inquiries via phone, fax, or email. Your role involves accurately obtaining, analyzing, and verifying order information promptly, and implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards of service and customer satisfaction. You will also help identify and contribute to potential sales leads, collaborating with team members to create tailored service packages.

  • Answer customer service calls promptly within the first three rings.
  • Process and verify the accuracy of customer orders using the company's internal CRM/Axapta system.
  • Utilize your data entry experience effectively.
  • Initiate actions for customer service requests relating to order changes, maintaining accurate order and customer information.
  • Assist in proofreading orders to ensure correct codes are applied before final confirmation.
  • Collaborate with production scheduling to ensure orders meet customer expectations.
  • Manage complaints regarding product or service failures by referring them to the appropriate department.
  • Conduct follow-up calls within 3 hours for respondents with concerns or questions.
  • Prepare quotations for items not listed in the price book.
  • Work with other regional branches to resolve issues and enhance customer service offerings.
  • Respond to technical questions from customers about products and services.
  • Update quote statuses post-order placement for visibility within the sales team.
  • Participate actively in regular customer service department meetings.
  • Engage in the organization's continuous improvement initiatives and product training.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and support team members as needed.

Skills You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year proven experience in customer service.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or glass industry is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • 0-2 years of experience in glass and aluminum work is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task while remaining organized, efficient, and accurate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict management, and time management skills.
  • Strong listening skills with attention to detail in data collection.
  • Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, fractions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Understanding of basic algebra and geometry concepts.
