Collaborate directly with line engineers, production, and maintenance teams to identify, design, and implement process and equipment changes that advance EHS goals. Apply engineering knowledge to evaluate, recommend, and implement technical solutions for risk reduction (e.g., automation, machine guarding, ergonomic redesign, process controls). Lead or support projects that integrate safety-by-design principles into new and existing manufacturing processes. Develop and present vetted proposals, including technical specifications, cost-benefit analyses, and vendor evaluations for EHS-related improvements. Source, evaluate, and manage vendors and external solution providers for EHS projects, ensuring quality and alignment with site needs.
