Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Healthcare Data Analyst to join our team. This role will support data-driven decision-making through advanced analysis and reporting, helping drive improvements in patient care, clinical performance, and business outcomes. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a passion for healthcare analytics, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the data infrastructure supporting clinical performance, provider analytics, and patient outcome reporting.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert on program reporting and departmental data processes.
  • Create documentation and dashboards using tools such as Domo, Power BI, PowerApps, SQL, and Salesforce.
  • Design financial and utilization models to support cost projections, budget planning, and strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze trends and generate reports with actionable insights for clinical teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize complex SQL queries and data tools to enhance operational efficiency and support value-based care initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to aggregate and validate data sources for comprehensive program reporting.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and contribute to a positive patient experience through data excellence.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, MIS, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, healthcare analytics, or business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, SSRS, Tableau, Domo, or Power BI.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently on complex tasks.
  • High attention to detail, critical thinking, and a passion for healthcare innovation.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a healthcare or value-based care environment.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or PowerApps.
  • Knowledge of medical claims data or clinical workflows.
