About This Job
Axos is seeking a Business Development Associate (BDA) who will be responsible for introducing and building a loyal customer base of mortgage bankers that will commit loans to the bank on a regular basis. The BDA is tasked with calling mortgage bankers based on a proprietary model developed by the Bank to identify customers who can benefit from the services offered by the Warehouse Lending Division of Axos Bank. The BDA is a key component of introducing Axos Bank to high performing mortgage bankers and helping them understand how the credit facilities offered by Axos can help them increase revenue and grow their respective mortgage businesses. Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are used to identify strategic business goals and provide accountability and visibly for the BDA and Management Team.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and source new mortgage lenders using a highly efficient, data driven system developed by Axos Bank.
- Establish contact with executives of mortgage origination companies based on lender scorecard ratings.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or experience in a sales or comparable role.

- Schedule discovery calls with prospective origination companies to determine how the mortgage products and services offered by Axos Bank can provide additional growth and opportunity for the prospect.
- Work independently to establish and maintain relationships with mortgage banks whom meet Bank's credit policy
- Maintain a detailed understanding of the products offered.
- Manage all relationships related to customer and loan data through bank systems (i.e. Salesforce, Comergence, Loan Funding System, etc.)
