Photography Project Coordinator

The Advertising Photography Project Coordinator assists the supervisor in achieving their vision for the project by coordinating all facets of a production from planning to post-production. This includes researching and securing possible talent, scheduling shooting locations, ensuring proper release forms are signed, determining required set dcor including props, ensuring continuity between the shots, coaching talent, and coordinating with other departments as needed. The Production Coordinator also oversees the safety of the crew while on a shoot. Assists the Project Lead in various aspects of shoots including but not limited to preparation of equipment, setting up/tearing down of equipment on set, and assigned on-set responsibilities such as camera operator, lighting technician, or other set responsibilities.

Coordinates Productions

Researches, coordinates, works with the project management team, and reserves resources for shoots during various phases of production. Communicate with other departments or outside vendors as needed to obtain or reserve resources.

Acts as a Liaison

Acts as liaison between the crew, talent, and other departments to keep everyone informed of the production schedule and responsibilities.

Develops Skills

Develops skills and improve abilities with production techniques and tools. Stay current on trends and suggest possible improvements with the photography supervisor.

Maintain Photography Inventory

Maintain a detailed equipment inventory and make recommendations for equipment upgrades, replacements, and repairs. Coordinate with the photography supervisor and creative director on approved purchases and repairs. Regularly check condition and cleanliness of equipment and equipment storage.

Education
College Degree: Business (Required), MBA

Work Experience
1+ years in project management
