Reports To: Director of Accounting
Position Objective:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk supports the Accounting Department in various areas of accounting-related functions including pricing, tax reporting, accounts receivable and payable, and other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
2. Update and maintain various accounting sub-ledgers, journals, and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).
3. Enters data into VIP accounting system using defined computer programs.
4. Compile data and prepare a variety of reports including tax filing.
5. Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.
6. Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
7. Resolve various issues that may arise.
