Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $13.75 - $13.75 / hour This range is a goodfaith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

What you'll be doing as a Cafeteria Attendant:

• Food preparation: Prepare food items, including main dishes, soups, sauces, and side dishes. Ensure food is prepared and served in the correct portions and garnished appropriately.
• Serving: Serve food to customers, and help with serving when needed.
• Cleaning: Clean tables, counters, and other surfaces, and remove trash and dirty dishes.
• Stocking: Ensure that tables are set with clean linens and condiments, and that there are enough supplies of items like silverware, glassware, and dishes.
• Customer service: Greet customers, answer their questions, and provide assistance.
• Closing duties: Store reusable items, break down goods, and clean equipment.
• Safety: Follow food preparation safety standards and ensure that appliances and food are at the correct temperature.

Job requirements:

• Able to lift at least 50 lbs. without assistance
• Proven written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to be a team player and contribute
• Able to deal with difficult customers and diffuse situations
• Preferred prior experience in the food service industry
• Finger printing
• Background Check Required
