PG H 107 Reports to the Facilities Maintenance Manager. Performs skilled work of average to considerable difficulty in the accomplishment of a variety of mechanical maintenance and construction assignments. Completion of assigned work requires the employee to possess considerable knowledge of and the skills and ability in at least one recognized skilled craft and a good working knowledge of the procedures, techniques, and methods of a number of other trades and a good skill and ability in accomplishing routine tasks in these trades. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Generates work orders using computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and receives work orders. Receives work orders/requests and reviews to determine tool, equipment, time, man-power, parts and supplies requirements, and schedules its accomplishment. Estimates cost and man-hour requirements. Requisitions and/or purchases supplies and materials. Operates and maintains tools and equipment.
