Cleaning Technician

Environmental Services Cleaning Tech is responsible to maintain the cleanliness of an assigned facility and/or area and to perform cleaning functions during assigned day, night, or weekend shifts.

Operate Cleaning Equipment
Safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, general floor cleaning equipment, commercial laundry machines, wet and dry mops, brooms, etc. Ensure that correct usage and all safety procedures are followed.

Perform General Building Cleaning
Effectively and efficiently clean restrooms, dust furniture, wash windows, scrub walls, clean furniture, fill dispensers, fold laundry, make beds, clean drinking fountains, etc.

Perform Floor Cleaning
Effectively and efficiently perform special floor cleaning tasks under the direction of a supervisor such as vacuuming, waxing, buffing, auto-scrubbing, carpet spot removal, extracting, etc.

Perform Specialty Cleaning Tasks
Learn and perform specialty cleaning tasks upon request such as body fluid clean-up, laundering, window washing, event touch-ups, etc.

FLSA Status - Scanning (Non-exempt)

Education
HS: General Studies (Required)

Work Experience
1+ years in general cleaning of buildings

Physical Requirements and Skills
Ability to lift 40+ pounds, Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time, Cleaning, Spend Time Bending or Twisting the Body, Team Culture, Written and Verbal Communications (Inactive)
