We are currently looking for a traveling Front Office Concierge to join our team! In this role you will act as a floating Front Office Concierge providing support in ALL 3 of our SWF offices. This role will perform check-in, check-out and scheduling services in any of our 3 office locations.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES TRAVEL WITHIN THE SWFL AREA. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND THE ABILITY TO FLOAT TO ANY OF OUR OFFICES IN EITHER NAPLES, FT. MYERS OR PUNTA GORDA.

Education and Experience:

  1. High School Diploma
  2. Medical Office Experience; minimum 1-year
  3. Ophthalmology Office Experience, preferable
  4. Strong Customer Service skills; minimum 1 year
  5. Call Center Experience, helpful

Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for patient check-in or check-out, greeting everyone in a pleasant and professional manner.
  2. Track patients in the reception area and communicate with them, as needed.
  3. Evaluate chart to verify information has been received, completed, and signatures obtained.
  4. Enter all new patient demographic & insurance information into the computer as well as verify coverage & benefits and ensure that proper authorization or referral has been received.
  5. Answer phones and schedule appointments for callers and be able to provide accurate practice information
  6. Document no-show appointments: reschedule and send follow up letters as needed.
  7. Review fee sheets for correct charges and diagnosis marked; enter information into computer and collect fee for services.
  8. Schedule return appointments for follow-up, as necessary
  9. Schedule patients for transfer of care and any required diagnostic testing.
  10. Explain all fees and patient financial responsibility.
