Working with journey level aircraft mechanic as instructed, prepares record of actions taken on work order requests, preventive maintenance schedules, written instructions, etc., and obtains required coordination and signatures.- Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work environment.WG-08-Removes major components of aircraft structure or systems such as control surfaces, fairing, access panels, doors, hatches, landing gear assemblies, engines, activator units, tubing, electrical wiring, and control cables.- Performs repairs of limited complexity such as removing worn or damaged gaskets, pneudraulic lines, and couplings, fuel cells, cables, and pulleys, determining when they may be cleaned and reinstalled, or must be replaced.- Works with higher grade mechanics to accomplish larger and more complex operations such as jacking and leveling aircraft, installing and adjusting engines, landing gear assemblies, instrument panels, and flight control systems.
