Position Title (Classification Title): Student Assistant
Working Title: Parking Patroller
Job Summary: Student Patrollers (SP's) are primarily responsible for enforcing parking regulations by way of issuing vehicles citations or by attaching vehicle boots.
They patrol parking lots and report the existence of hazardous conditions.
Patrollers mainly work outdoors and must become familiar with UWF Parking Regulations.
Other duties include, but are not limited to: Answering parking-related questions in the office, organizing and issuing parking permits, assisting at the Visitor's Center, assisting in traffic and crowd control for events on campus, removing and replacing signs, and other parking services related tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be a student enrolled for credit. Applicants may be a student at UWF or any other college, university or high school. A student enrolled at an institution other than UWF must provide proof of attendance by submitting a registration/fee payment receipt from the school they will attend.
Preferred Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally. Ability to observe, assess, and record hazardous conditions in parking areas. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects. Ability to resolve difficult or stressful customer service issues. Working knowledge in basic math skills and calculations. Ability to develop and maintain a working relationship with others.
No previous experience required.
Willingness to learn the aspects of this position and participate in on-going training throughout the duration of your time in this position.
