The primary function of this position will be to conduct all Materials Management related duties specifically as it relates to the Demand Flow process and mail distribution. This position will take the lead in the build and maintenance projects for Demand Flow, along with performing the daily standard work required to ensure the uninterrupted flow of supplies to our customers. Demand Flow (aka Blue Bin) is a visual replenishment system that helps ensure supplies are delivered to the right place, in the right quantity, at the right time. Additional duties will include facility related needs as defined in essential functions. This position is a shared role between 2 part-time associates.

Essential Functions-

  1. Build and maintain Demand Flow system as scheduled by Management
  2. Assess and Coordinate space preparation.
  3. Track and manage inventory of supplies and hardware necessary to install Demand Flow.
  4. Follow standard work processes and procedures defined in Demand Flow and ensure that team members are properly trained. Scheduling of supply chain associates to provide 7/365 coverage for all DF operations.
  5. Maintain all Data records associated with Demand Flow. (QCN's, Excel files, correspondence, etc.)
  6. Create and Maintain strong relationships in Clinical areas where Demand Flow is or will be implemented.
  7. Respond in a timely manner to customer requests and concerns.
  8. Monitor Dash Board activity in order to identify and correct Hot/Stale items. Accountable for operational metrics and required to provide details when needed.
  9. Coordinate and/participate in team meetings as needed to ensure that Demand Flow is meeting the needs of the end users. This includes conducting paired accountability meetings with Managers.
  10. Keep Track of Lessons learned and share those with team members and leadership. Support a safe working environment and compliance to all Hospital policies and procedures.
  11. Communication with vendors regarding products/resolving supply issues.
  12. Communication to end users regarding product discontinuations/backorders/stock outs and providing follow up regarding issues.
  13. Collection, sorting, and distribution of all mail correspondence for the clinic, including metering outgoing mail and handling of all 3rd party carrier deliveries.
  14. Facility related duties such as vendor appointment scheduling for medical equipment inspections, printer repair appointments, vehicle maintenance appointments and assembling various equipment and supplies, where necessary.

Qualifications-

High School Diploma

1-3 years experience in a relative industry
